Mexican Spiced Cacao Smoothie

A super quick, summery recipe! We know some of you don't like to have warm drinks on hot days so this is a great alternative to get your daily cacao kick without the heat...

๐—œ๐—ป๐—ด๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐—ฑ๐—ถ๐—ฒ๐—ป๐˜๐˜€
๐Ÿ”…1/4 cup very hot (but not boiling) water
๐Ÿ”…2 tablespoons Soma Cacao
๐Ÿ”…1 tablespoon almond or peanut butter
๐Ÿ”…1 teaspoon honey (or maple syrup or agave nectar) - optional
๐Ÿ”…1 teaspoon vanilla extract
๐Ÿ”…1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
๐Ÿ”… pinch cayenne pepper
๐Ÿ”…1 medium banana (cut into chunks)
๐Ÿ”…1/2 cup oat milk (or other plant milk)
๐Ÿ”…handful of ice cubes

๐— ๐—ฒ๐˜๐—ต๐—ผ๐—ฑ
1. Blend hot water, cacao, nut butter, banana, honey, vanilla extract and spices in a Nutribullet or equivalent high speed blender. This will melt the cacao back down into a paste making it easier to blend with the cold milk.
2. Add banana, milk and ice, blend again until frothy!
Optional: sprinkle cacao ontop. Add extra milk if you'd prefer it a little less thick.
