Vegan Chocolate Mousse Recipe
A super simple, decadent and delicious yet healthy (ish) crowd pleaserβ¦
ππ»π΄πΏπ²π±πΆπ²π»ππ:
(For 2-4 servings, adjust in equal rations if you want more!)
π₯1 ripe avocado
π 1 ripe banana
π«3-4 tablespoons Soma Cacao
π―3-4 tablespoons maple syrup or agave nectar (adjust to taste)
π1 teaspoon vanilla extract
π§ A pinch of sea salt
Optional toppings: fresh berries, chopped nuts, or coconut flakes
ππ»πππΏππ°ππΆπΌπ»π:
1. Prepare the Soma Cacao
Melt it in a heatproof bowl over simmering water or in short bursts in the microwave.
2. Blend Avocado and Banana
In a blender or food processor, combine the avo and banana until smooth.
3. Add Soma Cacao
Pour the melted Soma Cacao into the blender with the avocado and banana mixture.
4. Sweeten and Flavour:
Add maple syrup or agave nectar, vanilla extract, and a pinch of sea salt. Blend until all ingredients are well combined and the mixture is creamy.
5. Taste and Adjust:
Taste the mousse and adjust the sweetness or cacao intensity according to your preference by adding more sweetener or melted @soma.cacao
6. Chill:
Transfer the chocolate mousse to serving glasses or bowls. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1-2 hours to allow it to set.
7. Serve:
Once chilled, garnish the mousse with your favourite toppings, such as fresh berries, chopped nuts, or coconut flakes.
